The UK now has the highest incidence of Swine flu, or influenza (H1N1) amongst European countries.  Given the rapid increase in confirmed cases of swine flu in the UK it is predicted that up to 30% of the UK population could experience symptoms at some time before the autumn.  Although in many cases the symptoms are mild, many sufferers will need to take up to a week off work, potentially causing significant distruption to many businesses.
