The Council supports businesses in the main town centre through the Bromley Town Centre Manager who works to create and sustain robust business communities. The Town Centre initiative in Bromley is well established and supported by the public and private sectors, continuing to build on the solid foundation of The Glades and the pedestrianised High Street area with a mix of chain stores, specialist shops and bars and restaurants. Specialist markets regularly supplement the core retailers in the town. A variety of entertainment, both in the Glades and the High Street, regularly adds to the lively atmosphere of the town.
