We support businesses in the main town centre through the Orpington Town Centre Manager, who works to create and sustain robust business communities. The second largest town in the borough also has an established Town Centre Management initiative funded jointly by the public and private sectors. The range of retail and service operators in the town over recent years has increased. Better communications and a cohesive approach to local issues have succeeded in attracting several new retailers and catering outlets providing an excellent choice of cafes, restaurants and pubs.
