The Garden Room overlooks the lawns at the back of the Bishop’s Palace and is a large airy room, seating 70.  It can be increased in size for larger parties by the removal of a partition (by prior arrangement).  This allows the room to accommodate a maximum of 130 guests.

The Garden Room is equipped with a CD Player so a selection of background music will be played whilst your guests are taking their seats and also during the signing of the register/documentation.

Once you have given your notice, we will provide you with information about the ceremony. Although you can enhance your ceremony with your own personal touches, please bear in mind that your ceremony can only last 20 minutes, and the Superintendent Registrar needs to approve all additions at least 2 weeks before the ceremony.  The Superintendent Registrar will be happy to discuss the suitability of your chosen reading or music with you.

These fees are valid from 1 April 2008 until 31 March 2009. Please contact us for ceremony fees if your ceremony takes place on or after 1 April 2009.

The fee for the ceremony includes the cost of a legal certificate and is payable to the Bromley Register Office on the day of your ceremony.  It is possible to pay in advance if you prefer, in person or by post.
