Monitoring our service standard statistics at Bromley Register Office
We collect data on both a daily and monthly basis to monitor how our service compares with the service standards we work by. We discuss such statistics during our team meetings and if necessary make changes to improve the service we provide. We also display charts to show our customers how well we are performing against our standards.
The following are among the many items that we monitor
- that appointments are available within the specified number of days
- that customers are collected within ten minutes of their appointment time
- that certificates are prepared within 5 working days (unless express fee paid)
- that our telephones are answered within 3 rings
- that all correspondence/emails are responded to within 5 working days
- that our letters of invitation for citizenship ceremonies are sent within 10 working days
How are we doing?
During September 2008
100% of the time birth registration appointments were available within 3 working days
100% of the time death registration appointments were available within 2 working days
100% of the time notice of marriage or civil partnership appointments were available within 5 working days.
