main content Youth Groups in Bromley

There is a wide range of groups and activities for young people in the Borough. Youth groups provide an opportunity for young people to mix socially, have fun, learn new skills and develop confidence and respect for others.

The Youth Service in Bromley runs youth centres, advice and information centres and manages various youth projects throughout the Borough.  Bromley Youth Trust is a voluntary organisation which makes available a narrow boat and a minibus for hire by youth groups.

The Information for Bromley Families Directory (www.families.info) provides information on services available for children, young people and their families. There are details of voluntary organisations and leisure sports and arts groups for young people.

There are many activities to choose from in the local community, however the Council does not vet them all.  It is important that parents in particular make appropriate enquiries to ensure that these are safe for their children.  Good organisations welcome questions about their activities or events and the safety of their environment.  All organisations should have a child protection policy, including guidelines on keeping children safe.
