Bromley Community Safety Strategy 2005-08
In 2005, the Safer Bromley Partnership completed an audit of crime, disorder and drugs for the Borough during the period July 2001 to March 2004 - one of the most comprehensive audits undertaken in London.
This Crime & Disorder Audit provides a clear understanding of the extent and location of crime, disorder and drugs problems in the Borough. The findings of the audit, along with the feedback from a widespread consultation with partner agencies and members of Bromley’s communities were used to develop this Partnership’s Community Safety Strategy. This Strategy provides the Partnership’s vision, priorities and targets as well as a three year outline of how the Partnership intends to build a safer community for all of us.
The Strategy brings together all partners’ activities relating to community safety and provides a commitment to working with communities to ensure that activity continues to respond to locally identified need.
