Drugs Interventions Programme (DIP)
The Drugs Interventions Programme (DIP) is a critical part of the Government's strategy for tackling drugs. The DIP supports people who are caught up in crime to support their drugs dependency by ensuring criminal justice and drug treatment providers work together with other services to provide a tailored solution for adults who commit crime to finance their drug misuse
Evidence has shown that people these individuals have a greater chance of building an alternative lifestyle if they receive suitable support and treatment at the earliest opportunity.
A range of treatment services are available including rehab and prescribing, as well as support with housing, relationships, re-settlement back into the community and returning to employment and education.
DIP is for you if you are a resident in the London Borough of Bromley, over the age of 18 and Class A drug user (such as heroin, crack, cocaine) who is also in the Criminal Justice System by being either:
- on remand
- on bail or in custody
