Get involved in protecting and enhancing Bromley's countryside sites.

Details

As a Volunteer Ranger you can become involved with a wide range of practical conservation activities, public event days and it is a great way to meet people.

Activities include:

  • practical conservation work such as pond clearance, coppicing, scrub clearance and tree planting;
  • leading ice well tours;
  • leading walks;
  • helping with children’s events such as Buzz;
  • survey and monitoring of wildlife and habitats;
  • assisting in the nature centre; and
  • annual events such as Woodland Day, National Nest Box Day, National Apple Day

Eligibility

Volunteers must be physically fit, 18 years of age or over and able to commit at least half a day per month.  To become a member please contact the Bromley Countryside Ranger Service.
