An introduction to children's trusts

The Children Act 2004 and the Every Child Matters: Change for Children programme requires all organisations who provide services to children and young people to work closely with each other in an arrangement called a children's trust.

The Every Child Matters: Change for Children programme is places better outcomes for children and young people firmly at the centre of all policies and approaches involving children's services, and demands that all organisations that provide services to children work together in more integrated and effective ways.
