Bromley Council works in partnership with many local organisations representing residents and the public, private and voluntary sectors. By working together with our partners we can bring mutual benefit through a range of different activities and services.
The Bromley Local Strategic Partnership (LSP)
The Local Strategic Partnership is the Borough's over-arching partnership. It has a broad base of local organisations, including the Council, other public sector organisations and representatives of the private and voluntary sectors, pulling together the partner organisations' strategies and plans to co-ordinate action through the Community Plan.
For 2008 LSP meetings are scheduled for 31 March, 22 May, 21 July, 13 October and 15 December 2008. All meetings are held at the Civic Centre starting at 2pm and are open to the public. Copies of the agendas, reports and minutes of the LSP are available elsewhere on this website.
The LSP's work is broken into a variety of themes, each of which has its own partnership to co-ordinate the delivery of services across the borough.
At present it is only the LSP meetings which are open to the public.
The Bromley Children and Young People Trust
The Children and Young People’s Trust (the Trust) is a partnership between the Council and a wide range of other organisations who provide services to children, young people, and their parents and carers. The Trust ensures that all organisations and agencies providing services to children and young people co-operate to deliver improved outcomes in relation to: staying safe, being healthy, enjoying and achieving, making a positive contribution and achieving economic well-being.
The Trust Board is the Trust’s executive body and it co-ordinates the development and business of the Trust by providing strategic leadership. It does not have executive powers, other than those already delegated to individual members of the Board by their agencies. The Trust Board oversees the business of the Trust and manages links with other partnership planning forums, and with statutory and independent service providers.
