Maternity Action

DescriptionMaternity Action works to aid inequality and promote the health and well being of all pregnant women, their partners and children from before conception through to the child's early years. We have a dedicated advice line with a specialist adviser who can advise on matters relating to maternity rights. We provide information sheets that cover a range of topics including rights at work, benefits, maternity discrimination, breastfeeding and entitlements for women of various immigration statuses (including refugees, asylum seekers, refused asylum seekers, EU nationals, indefinite leave to remain, undocumented women, trafficked women, and women with 'no recourse to public funds').
