Children in public care are our children. We hold their future in our hands and education is the key to that future.

Details

The education team for looked-after children supports schools, foster carers and young people. They monitor and review the quality of provision in schools to ensure that individual looked-after children have equal access to educational opportunities.

The team comprises:

• a full time Teacher/Co-ordinator;
• a part-time Educational Psychologist;
• a full time Education Welfare Officer;
• a full time Administrative Officer.
