Further and higher education colleges offer a variety of courses leading to academic and vocational qualifications.
Eligibility
- Further Education (FE) is normally open to students aged 16 and over.
- Higher Education (HE) normally applies to those age 18 and over.
- Students may be eligible for financial assistance for living expenses and for travel costs.
Details
- There are two general further education colleges in the borough - Bromley College of Further and Higher Education and Orpington College of Further Education.
- For young people with physical and learning difficulties there is Nash College of Further Education.
- There is one higher education college, which specialises in design and communication - Ravensbourne College of Design and Communication in Chislehurst.
- Bromley College of Further and Higher Education offers some higher education courses in association with the University of Greenwich.
- The Bromley Adult Education College offers part-time courses.
