Lifelong Learning Partnership Logo

The Bromley Lifelong Learning Partnership brings together all the key learning organisations in the Borough, to promote learning to meet the needs of residents and make it easier for everyone to gain access to learning, even if they have not studied for some time.

Details

The Bromley Lifelong Learning Partnership aims to:

  • encourage access by all sectors of the community, including those who have not been engaged in learning for some time;
  • facilitate partnership between learning organisations to encourage collaborative work and attract additional resources to the Borough: examples of this include the Mottingham Community Learning Shop and BEBOP (Bromley Adult Education and Broomleigh Older Learners Project);
  • with the Borough's employers, identify the collective skill requirements of the Borough workforce;
  • ensure that Bromley has a key influence on the South London Learning and Skills Council in the allocation of funds for learning provision.
