Proof of Residency and Parental Responsibility - Primary School Admissions
It is the responsibility and right of each admission authority to consider degree and factors such as time intention, continuity and proof of permanent residence. Bromley Local Authority is able to request whatever proof it feels is necessary to ensure the address provided is the intentional permanent residence of the child. This policy is supported by Bromley primary schools. There is no guidance issued by the Department for Education and Skills as to what constitutes ordinary residence for the purpose of admission to school.
