At his meeting on 25 March 2008 Councillor Ernest Noad, Children and Young People Portfolio Holder, authorised consultation on the proposal to amalgamate Oaklands Infant and Junior Schools (see report further below for detail).

A consultation leaflet gives details about the proposed changes and explains the different ways to respond to the consultation. Hard copies were sent to parents/carers, staff and other stakeholders on 30 April 2008.
