The governor services team supports the 1,500 locally representative governors who provide a significant and valuable service to Bromley Schools. The Local Authority (LA) provides support and advice to governing bodies to ensure that they act as accountable and strategic policy-making bodies. The LA is also committed to helping governing bodies evaluate the performance of their schools and so fulfil their duty to be critically supportive friends to the schools.
