The Bromley EarlyBird Programme supports parents of pre-school children with a diagnosis of an Autistic Spectrum Disorder.

Eligibility

Parents/carers of pre-school children with a diagnosis of Autism or Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) who are resident in the London Borough of Bromley.

Details

  • The programme promotes a positive approach to living with a child who has been diagnosed with ASD.
  • Fully licensed trainers, experienced in working with young children with ASD, run the programme.
  • Over 13 weeks parents attend eight 2½-hour training sessions and receive five home visits.
  • A follow-up home visit is made three months after the programme has finished.
  • Excellent evaluations (National Autistic Society).  
  • Creche available.
