Most students in Bromley will have the opportunity to go on some form of work experience. This may be for one or two weeks at a time or for one day a week for anything from a term to two academic years.

We provide a range of services to help schools organise safe and rewarding placements. These range from providing training for School Work Experience Co-ordinators to providing events for pupils such as health and safety briefings. For more detailed information please visit our website (www.bromleyebp.org.uk).

If you are a parent looking for a work experience for your child and need help and guidance, you should contact the work experience co-ordinator at your child's school.

Eligibility

  • Employers who have employers' liability insurance, public liability insurance and appropriate health and safety arrangements can provide work experience.
  • Pupils in their last two years of compulsory schooling can be offered a placement organised by their school as part of an LEA approved scheme.
