In Spring 2005 the Children and Young People Policy Development and Scrutiny Committee (CYP PDS ) commissioned a Select Committee of Councillors to review youth provision in the London Borough of Bromley. The Committee subsequently published a report outlining the findings based on a range of evidence provided by Council services, public and private organisations, the voluntary youth sector and young people themselves, along with recommendations on how provision for young people could be improved. The report was approved by the Portfolio Holder in March 2006 and the Implementation Plan was drawn up to outline how the recommendations would be implemented. This Implementation Plan was approved by the Portfolio Holder in October 2006.
