Conserving good architecture, wildlife and the urban and rural landscape is vital. The London Borough of Bromley includes many areas of environmental quality and all contribute to the local identity and the character of the Borough. The conservation and management of the environment must be carefully considered and also within the planning context. The Heritage and Urban Design team (HUD) projects range from design advice to carrying out improvement works; studying Bromley's heritage to providing a framework for environmental protection, conservation and enhancement.
