Who investigates cases of infectious disease ?


The LA works in partnership with Bromley Primary Care Trust (PCT).

The PCT deals with most of the illnesses and uses their medical expertise to prevent or control an outbreak in the community. Food Safety Officers deal with cases of food poisoning, food related illnesses and water bourne infections due to their expertise with food and the food industry.
