London drinking water survey
The London wide survey shows that 99% of the water surveyed meets the standards laid down in the Water Supply (Water Quality) Regulations 2000.
The long term trend shows that water quality has improved. This is consistent with results obtained by the water companies supplying the water to the boroughs. The survey complements the information available to the local authorities from water companies and gives a good indication of the quality of drinking water supplied in the London area.
