We offer public access to details of current planning applications. You can follow the progress of a planning application, view application documentation (including plans), make a comment, search a weekly list of applications and decisions, view historic applications and view property details including maps.

 PLEASE NOTE

• To search using an application number do not include the 'DC/' at the beginning of the reference (e.g. to search on DC/ 04/03193/FULL1 you only need to input 04/03193)
• you may not be able to view our Public Access pages for various technical reasons. Information about these technical issues can be found here.

Details

This service is being developed and some features are incomplete at present. Please note that:

• the online planning history contained within the site is incomplete and must not be used as a substitute for carrying out a formal ‘Land Charge Search’. No responsibility will be taken for any errors or omissions in the planning history information obtained from ‘Public Access’;
• the information contained within Public Access does not constitute in any way a formal notification of a planning decision, and as such any actions taken as a result of information displayed on the site are undertaken entirely at the viewer’s own risk;
• planning constraint information is not available via Public Access for Planning at the moment. Where you see the phrase "No constraints are associated with this property" please contact us for possible constraints;
• the planning application details contained on this site are currently updated twice a week although we intend to increase the frequency in the coming months;
• viewing plans, application forms, photographs etc is a new addition to the service and is a link to our new document management system. Please note that, for practical reasons, not all documents can be displayed, although these will continue to be available at the Civic Centre as usual.

To submit comments online about a planning application use the Public Access 'Application Details' screen.
