Christmas tree recycling sites
We provide a free Christmas tree recycling service for all our residents at temporary sites around the borough. Please note that Christmas trees must not have soil, pots or decorations attached. You can also bring along other green garden waste with your Christmas tree.
Details
Temporary recycling centres for Christmas trees and green garden waste are at:
- Beckenham, St George's Road car park (Albemarle Road)
- Biggin Hill, Charles Darwin School (Jail Lane)
- Bromley, Norman Park (Hook Farm Road entrance off Bromley Common, A21)
- Green Street Green, Salt Depot (Shire Lane 'spur', off Sevenoaks Road)
- St Paul's Cray, Cotmandene Crescent car park (off Chipperfield Road)
These will be open:
- Saturday 9 January 2010: 11 am - 4pm
- Sunday 10 January 2010: 8 am - 12 noon
- Saturday 16 January 2010: 11 am - 4 pm
- Sunday 17 January 2010: 8 am - 12 noon
Green garden waste must not be left outside operating times. Sites will be closely monitored and all fly-tippers will be prosecuted.
Christmas trees can also be recycled at Waldo Road and Churchfields Road reuse and recycling centres - please bring your waste disposal permit.
