Grace, one of the most well known cricketers of all time! He spent the end of his life in Mottingham and was buried at Elmers End Cemetery when he died in 1915.

Classical Music with Bromley Music Makers

Jubilee Open Day

This Open Day is a thank you for the Queen's 60 year reign. We warmly welcome visitors to 'come and see' what's on, sign a card and give a donation for the work of this local church.

Location: St Andrews Church, Burnt Ash Lane BR1 5AF

Time: 10:00 - 16:00

Cost: Donations welcome

Visitors will be greeted with an aperitif and nibbles. They may view the souvenirs, memorabilia and exhibits and/or view a special film about the Queen's life.

Later in the morning the choir will sing Coronation anthems; there will be celebratory organ music and 5 minutes of prayers from the pulpit at 12 noon.

Lunches are available and in the afternoon visitors may view the exhibits, watch the film and/or listen to Burnt Ash Drama Association's medley of poetry and drama on a royal theme.
