The Mayor of London's 'do-it-yourself' insulation kit can be purchased for £99 and you then receive £50 cash back - so it only costs £49.

All you have to do to benefit from the scheme is live in the Borough.

Details

The Mayor of London's kit will provide you with all the basic materials including insulation, gloves, goggles and instructions to help you insulate your loft and it will all be delivered directly to your home for free and even placed in your loft.

The kit will contain:
- Protective gloves, goggles and mask
- Insulation rolls - to cover up to 40m2
- Pipe lagging
- Cold water tank jacket and lid
- Easy step by step installation instructions

Costs

The cost of the kit is £99. Following the delivery of the insulation a cash back of £50 is received so the actual cost is only £49
