Broomleigh housing association
Broomleigh housing association is one of the largest housing associations operating in the UK today. Broomleigh is a large-scale voluntary transfer association, set up in 1992 when the London Borough of Bromley transferred its council housing to it. They still operate mainly in Bromley, but have recently expanded into neighbouring boroughs, and are now working closely with Croydon and Lewisham Councils to provide housing in these boroughs.
Location
The Broomleigh main office is located in Bromley. There are also two local access points in Penge and Orpington.

Services
They provide mainly general need housing for all sectors of the local population - families, couples with children, single people and the elderly, often in warden attended accommodation. They work closely with specialist agencies; social services, health authorities, voluntary organisations catering for those with special needs and youth groups, to provide a range of supported housing schemes. They aim to meet a variety of housing needs and will always consider innovative and viable proposals. All applicants housed by Broomleigh are referred via Bromley Council or a referral agency. Languages: through a telephone translation service and Language Line.
