main content Common housing register

The aim of the common housing register is to list everyone in the borough waiting for social housing, regardless of which housing association they belong to.

The common housing register was created so you only need to apply once to join the housing register for all social housing, rather than applying to the Council and then individual housing associations.

How can I apply for social housing?

To apply for social housing and to join the common housing register, you will need to join Bromley Homeseekers by making a full application on the Bromley Homeseekers website.  To do this you will need to complete the 'Self Assessment' and then click on 'Register now' to fill out the full online form.  If you have previously filled out a self assessment and now wish to complete your application you should follow the same instructions.  You will need to complete the 'Self Assessment' again and then click 'Register now'.  Once you have submitted your application we will match this up with the date of your first self assessment.

Bromley Homeseekers

Bromley Homeseekers is a choice based lettings system. The system is a new way of allocating social housing and allows applicants to see the housing that becomes available for letting on a website each week.
