The Deposit Guarantee Bond scheme allows you to access private rented accommodation in an area of your choice. The Housing Initiatives Team deal with private-sector landlords every day and operate many of our housing option schemes.

The Deposit Guarantee Bond scheme enables you to approach lettings agents and private landlords to find accommodation suitable to your needs. We provide a guarantee bond, which is in most cases equal to one month's rent, for your chosen landlord. This reassures the landlord that you intend to reside in the property for as long as possible and will keep it in good condition.
