Supported housing reviews
Once a young person has been in their supported housing placement for six months a review is conducted. This interview will usually be carried out with the young person by a Support and Resettlement Officer and a Support Worker from the scheme where the young person is living.
These reviews are important in:
- monitoring your progress in the supported housing scheme;
- identifying and dealing with any issues or problems which you may face whilst living at the scheme;
- reviewing your health, educational, welfare and support needs;
- setting targets and aims for you to achieve by the next review.
If you find you need to contact your officer in between reviews you will be able to do so.
After you have reached 18 years of age regular reviews will continue to take place. Once we agree that you are able to live independently and have successfully managed to remain in your supported housing placement, you will receive an offer of permanent accommodation from a housing association in your area of choice.
