Bromley Scheme for Adult Placements (B-SAP)
The purpose of the scheme is to provide homes that enable vulnerable adults to share in family and community life. The scheme is registered with the Commission for Social Care Inspection and adheres to current legislation.
Who could benefit/use this service
B-SAP provides a service to adults who have a diagnosed learning disability, physical disability, mental health needs and vulnerable other adults.
Details:
Bromley Council carries out carer's assessments and matching processes and approved carers receive a weekly payment for providing a home and support to individuals. B-SAP helps carers (ordinary people from local communities) to share their homes and time with vulnerable adults.
B-SAP actively encourages applications from people who are interested in becoming carers, including those from minority communities and people who are committed to the positive promotion of cultural awareness.
