Emergency planning

We hope that you never have to put into practice the advice and guidance in these pages, but just in case you are caught up in an emergency this information may help!

Through the Bromley Prepared campaign  we are educating residents, businesses and voluntary organisations by empowering them to take simple steps to ensure that them are prepared for potential emergencies.

We are not saying that Bromley will be hit by a hurricane or be thrown into darkness because of a major power cut, but unfortunately the events of 2007 in Gloucestershire and Hull plus emergencies within Bromley during 2008 such as a fire in Penge and the Farnborough air crash have raised the question of are the public and business ready to deal with such unfortunate events.
