Bromley Best Bar None
The Best Bar None scheme is intended to promote Bromley as a safe and enjoyable place to socialise, live and work by reducing alcohol related crime and disorder in the town centre.
The principles of the scheme are to reward good practice as opposed to punishing bad.
The best-run premises in Bromley are rewarded and promoted as having high professional standards of customer care and safety. The standards required for accreditation are above the legal requirements and management will need to demonstrate their commitment to their customers and staff.
Created and developed by Greater Manchester Police's City Safe Unit in 2002 the scheme as been adopted nationwide as a standard of excellence and is supported by the Home Office and BII.
There are currently 80 locations across the UK running the schemes.
