Parking dispensations

A parking dispensation allows a vehicle to park on a waiting restriction (yellow line) in circumstances where the vehicle needs to be close to a specific location.  For example, for carrying out works that require continuous access to a building for loading or unloading goods or materials; or in connection with funerals, blood transfusion services, health screening, domestic removals, etc.

How to apply

If you require a parking dispensation please contact us by telephone or e-mail at least 24 hours in advance.  The following information will be required:

• your name
• your contact details
• your vehicle registration number
• the reason you require a parking dispensation
• the start date and length of time you require the dispensation to operate for
• the location, i.e. road name

If you require a dispensation urgently, for example, for a funeral, please call us.

The charge will be quoted when you apply.

Red routes

We are unable to grant dispensations for red routes; in these case you will need to apply to Transport for London.
