School recycling service

As part of our pledge to recycle more, as well as a way to promote the significance of recycling within schools, we provide schools with a free paper recycling service.

Details

We support schools in promoting the importance of recycling through a paper and cardboard recycling facility.

1100 litre recycling containers are available to hire, accompanied by free emptying and collection on a fortnightly basis (during term time only). 

The service recycles paper, cardboard (including corrugated cardboard), magazines and newspapers.

We are also running a school kitchen waste trial; whereby some schools have their kitchen waste collected separately (like the current new household kitchen waste collection) for composting.
