Census 2011 - Second address estimates

This is the first time a question relating to second homes has been included in the census.

The associated data were released at on 22 October 2012 and relate to people who live at a second address within a local authority (or region) for at least 30 days per year, but who were usually resident in a different local authority (or region) in England and Wales; and people who were usually resident in a local authority (or region), but who also live at a second address in a different local authority (or region) for at least 30 days per year.
