Thyme Out Too Project
Thyme Out Too provides free horticultural training to people with learning disabilities encouraging independence and increasing job opportunities.
The project will run from April 2012 until 31 March 2015. Over the next three years the London Borough of Bromley, Capel Manor College and Bromley Mencap(Jobmatch) will assist 90 adults to develop skills and gain work opportunities.

- The Bromley Palace Park (Civic Centre grounds)
- Crystal Palace Park
- Open green spaces in the London Borough of Bromley

Course information
Participants can attend two days a week for a one year course and will work towards City and Guilds Horticulture and Life skills training and qualifications, Entry Level and Level 1.
The two days will also include:
- Gardening to improve local green spaces for local people to enjoy
- Taking part in a Job Club to find a job and volunteering opportunity
- Taking part in a work experience placement to gain confidence in the work place
- Running community gardening events and walks and talks for local people
- Running plant and craft sales
- Meeting other people and having fun!
