Bromley Environmental Education Centre at High Elms (BEECHE)

Wheelchair access to BEECHE and High Elms

The building itself is fully accessible with disabled toilets in both the café and the education side of the building.

Parking:

  • There are four disabled parking spaces in the main public car park off High Elms Road, we ask that where possible visitors use this car park to reduce traffic through the park.
  • There are also two disabled parking spaces adjacent to BEECHE, this can be accessed off Shire Lane (service entrance), please note there is a speed limit of five-mile per hour through the park.

Baby changing facilities are available in the public toilets and in BEECHE when the visitor centre is open to the public (see opening times).

Trampers at High Elms

High Elms is home to two 'Trampers'.  These are all-terrain wheelchairs designed for use over rough ground, mud and grass.  If you are interested in using these to access High Elms Country Park please contact the Parks and Greenspace team.

Please note booking and use of the Trampers is subject to staff availability.
