Red routes

Transport for London (TFL) is responsible for managing and maintaining red routes across the borough.

Most red routes are clearly indicated with signs and red parking restriction lines by the side of the road.  In Bromley they run along the:

  • A21 from the M25 to the Lewisham boundary at Bromley Hill
  • A232 from Locksbottom (Croydon Road) to the boundary with Croydon at West Wickham High Street.

Information about red routes and a map of the red routes in Bromley is available on the TFL website.

We are responsible for cleaning red routes, but not for street lighting, road and pavement maintenance, or winter gritting.

Contact the TFL street faults report centre directly to report any problems on red routes.
