Bromley Youth Support Programme
What is it?
Bromley Youth Support Programme brings together different services for young people. If you want something to do or need extra help then the programme can help you.
We have youth centres based in specific areas that will provide activities and support for local young people. We want to make sure that young people who need some extra support get the right kind of help, in the right place and at the right time. At our local centres we will provide workers who can give support and advice and help if you need it. For further information about the one to one support the Bromley Youth Support programme can offer to vulnerable young people go to the Bromley Partnerships website.
We also want all young people in Bromley to benefit from the wide range of opportunities that are available in the borough. The programme can therefore help you in identifying different activities that are available across Bromley. We will also provide opportunities for young people to be part of Bromley's Youth Council, take part in the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme or get involved in some of our Borough Wide Youth Projects.
Who is it for?
Bromley Youth Support Programme is available for young people from Year 6 up until the age of 19 (25 if you have a disability). The service as a whole is for all young people in Bromley. However, we will provide extra support to those areas of Bromley where there are more young people and a greater level of need.
When will it run?
Each centre will have its own programme of activities that will respond to local need. However, we expect centres to be open for 3 to 6 nights each week and at weekends for further information please contact your local centre.
How can I get involved?
You can get involved in all sorts of ways whether it is attending you local centre, volunteering on the youth council or taking part in the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme all you need to do is contact your local centre or the main office for more information.
