Important safety notice - Product safety warning
It has come to our attention that in a very small number of incidents the handlebar ‘down tube’, just above the clamp on the scooter is bending with a possibility of snapping. This is due to the bar being made from sub quality steel. This area is subject to bending when the scooter is used for hard and extreme stunts.
Not all the scooters manufactured are affected, it only concerns one batch. If you purchased a scooter between 30th November 2011 and 16 January 2012, please be aware that you may have one from the batch in question.
Please check this area for signs of damage and/or bending. If you have damage or a bend in the bar, do not continue to use the scooter.
WHAT YOU NEED TO DO IF YOU HAVE ONE OF THESE PRODUCTS
If you have one of these products in stock, or if you are still unsure if your product is affected, call Carl Priscott on 01271 815306 between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday. Saltrock will make a damage assessment and will advise as appropriate. You will require proof of purchase.
No other scooters manufactured by Saltrock are affected.
