Over the past year, Bromley Museum has been taking part in a partnership project with The Museum of London, to create an online 20th century gallery, Exploring 20th century London.
As a result you can now access images and information about more than 150 objects and artworks from the Bromley Museum’s 20th century collection. Like most museums, only a small number of objects can be on display, so this is great opportunity to open up our ‘hidden collections’.

The website tells the story of London in the 20th century in an engaging way, and there is also a section, Tales of London, for children to explore this exciting period in history.

The partnership is ongoing and what is already a wonderful resource, can only get better!
