Havelock Recreation Ground, Havelock Road, Bromley BR2

This is a medium-sized local open space with a childcare facility in the pavilion.  The main entrance is in Havelock Road with a second entrance in Homesdale Road.

Hayes Common, Croydon Road, Hayes, Bromley BR2

Hayes Common covers 79 hectares and is dominated by secondary oak woodland with small patches of lowland dry heath land, dry acid grassland, lichen heath, scrub and ponds. It has a high biodiversity value - some of the habitats are of national importance. The Common is very popular with visitors and a network of permissive footpaths and bridleways cross the site.   There are car parks in Baston Road, Croydon Road and Commonside.

Hayes Old Rectory Gardens, Library Gardens, Hayes Street, Hayes, Bromley BR2

Former gardens of hayes Rectory, laid out in an ornamental manner and now contains Hayes Library.

Facilities:
● Public toilets (adjacent to the library)
● Hard tennis courts (run by Glebe Tennis Club)

Hollydale Recreation Ground, Kemble Drive, Bromley BR2

This is an attractive, large sloping site with ornamental lake, wooded area and open space.  There are three entrances in Lakeside Drive, Beverley Road and Kemble Drive.

Husseywell Open Space, Pickhurst Lane, Hayes, Bromley BR2

This small, local open space has a children’s play area with equipment. There are two entrances in Husseywell Crescent. 

Keston Common, Fishponds Road/Heathfield Road, BR2

The common is linked by the River Ravensbourne to Padmall Wood Open Space and Ravensbourne Open Space and covers 37 Hectares (one hectare is about the size of a football pitch!). There is a good diversity of habitats including wetlands, heathland, acid grassland and a variety of woodland.   There are car parks at Heathfield Road and Westerham Road.

Kingswood Glen, South Hill Road, Bromley BR2

This small local open space has a woodland area and two ponds.
The main entrance is in South Hill Road, there is also an entrance in Kingswood Road.

The Knoll, Pickhurst Lane, Bromley BR2

This medium-sized, sloping site has lakes and specimen forest trees. There are two entrances, in Pickhurst Lane and Ridgeway.

Leaves Green Common, Westerham Road, Keston BR2

This medium-sized local open space is situated north of Biggin Hill Aerodrome.

Martins Hill Open Space, Church Road, Bromley BR2

This is a medium-sized open space which is a steeply sloped site overlooking Shortlands valley. It is an area of natural grassland and woods. This open space also has a Friends group.   The entrance is in Church Road and there is a footpath in Beckenham Lane.

Newbury Playground, Newbury Road, Bromley BR2

This is a small local recreation ground and has a children’s play area with equipment.   The main entrance is in Newbury Road and there is another in Simpsons Road.

Norman Park, Hayes Lane, Bromley BR2

This is a large open site used mainly for sports and events.
The main entrance is in Hayes Lane with another entrance in Hook Farm Road.

Facilities:
● Athletics track (run by Norman Park Athletics Track Limited)
● Car parks (two)
● Children’s play area with equipment
● Pavilion 1 (open everyday with access to public toilets)
● Pavilions 2, 3 and 4 (only open for events)

Oakley Road Open Space, Oakley Road, Bromley BR2

A small local open space between Oakley Road and Gravel Road.

Padmall Wood Open Space, Croydon Road, Keston BR2

This open space is linked by the River Ravensbourne to Keston Common and Ravensbourne Open Space and covers 37 Hectares (one hectare is about the size of a football pitch!). There is a good diversity of habitats including wetlands, heathland, acid grassland and a variety of woodland.
There are car parks at Heathfield Road and Westerham Road.

Parkfield Recreation Ground, Whitebeam Avenue (Coppice Estate), Bromley BR2

A medium-sized grassed area. Entrances to this recreation ground are in Whitebeam Avenue and Magpie Hall Lane.

Pickhurst Green, Pickhurst Lane, Hayes BR2

A medium-sized, gently sloping site with surrounding woods. The main entrance is in Pickhurst Lane.

Pickhurst Recreation Ground, Pickhurst Lane, Hayes BR2

A medium-sized, gently sloping recreation ground and contains Cupola Wood. This site has a children’s play area with equipment.  There are entrances in Pickhurst Lane and Mead Way.

Queensmead Recreation Ground, Queensmead Road, Bromley BR2

A medium-sized, flat open space built on the flood plain of the River Ravensbourne. The main entrance to this recreation ground is in Queensmead Road and there is a footpath that runs from Martins Road and Recreation Road to Glassmill Lane.

● Pavilion (used by clubs who pay to use the football pitch)
● Senior football pitch
● Friends of Bromley Town parks

Richmal Crompton Fields, Lower Gravel Road, Bromley BR2  (formerly known as Scrubs Farm)

 A newly created, medium-sized country park with a children’s play area and open countryside walks, linking to Parkfield Recreation Ground. There is a children’s play area with equipment and picnic benches.

Shell Close Open Space, Magpie Hall Lane, Bromley BR2

This small open space consists of a grassed area. There are entrances in Shell Close and Magpie Hall Lane.

South Hill Wood, Westmoreland Road, Bromley BR2

A medium-sized, local park mainly woodland, but with some sporting facilities and horticultural features. The main entrance to this site is in Westmoreland Road with another in Tootswood Road.

This medium-sized grassed area has a children’s play area with equipment. The main entrance is in Southborough Lane and another in Oxhawth Crescent.
