The London Mayor’s 2008/09 Help a London Park campaign brought with it positive attention to the parks and public green spaces of Penge.

Although the Borough was unsuccessful in winning the prize, the campaign attracted so much participation and support upon which to build.

Over the last few months we have been working with our contractors to develop a plan for future investment, to deliver positive change. We need to make sure that the improvements made are wanted and will last. The next phase needs to be based on local information and we are seeking the views of residents.

Penge Parks will become a Friends of the parks group that will influence and implement lasting change to SE20.

A public meeting was held on Wednesday 10 June 2009 to gather local resident's views. If you were not able to attend the meeting, but would like to have your say, then please contact us.
