Bromley Central Library will be open from 1.00 to 5.00 pm on Sunday for a trial period from 7 October 2007 until 29 June 2008 inclusive. The library will remain closed on Sunday 23 March 2008.
The Central Library is the largest library in the Borough with a wide range of stock and services. It provides a collection of fiction and non-fiction and includes material from basic to post-graduate level. There is a selection of newspapers and magazines as well as a range of multimedia items including CDs and DVDs. Local Links - access to a wide range of Council services, including reporting an abandoned vehicle and purchasing Garden Waste Collection stickers are available.

- Centrally located in the pedestrianised section of Bromley High Street, served by major bus routes and two rail stations Bromley North and Bromley South.
