Penge is a small library providing a collection of popular fiction and non-fiction for adults, teenagers and children including material from basic and popular up to GCSE level. There is a selection of newspapers and magazines as well as a range of multi media items including CDs and videos available to borrow. Local Links - access to a wide range of Council services, including reporting an abandoned vehicle and purchasing Garden Waste Collection stickers, is available here.

There is a programme of regular events including:

• Book Appreciation Group: Group 1:The second Monday of the month 7.30 - 9.00 pm. Group 2: The 4th Monday of the month 2.15 - 3.30 pm
• Teenage Reading Group: Once a month on Saturday morning 10.45 - 11.45 am 
• Baby Bounce & Rhyme: Thursdays 10.00 - 10.30 am (term time only)
• All join in: First Wednesday of the month 10.00 - 11.30 am.
