Reference and Information Service
Bromley Central Library will be open from 1.00 to 5.00 pm on Sunday for a trial period from 7 October 2007 until 29 June 2008 inclusive.
The Reference Library - in Bromley Central Library - provides a comprehensive collection of books, newspapers and periodicals. It offers a wide-ranging enquiry service, as well as fax and photocopying facilities and free use of computers with access to online reference works for library members, internet and word processing.

- Centrally located in the pedestrianised section of Bromley High Street, served by major bus routes and two rail stations - Bromley North and Bromley South.
- The library does not have parking facilities but there are several car parks, for which a charge is made, within easy walking distance.

Joining and using the library
- You do not need to be a member of the library to use the Reference and Information Library, to read the newspapers or find information in books.
- You do need to be a library member to use the online reference works. Anyone can join the library if they can provide proof of address and signature.
