The Reference and Information Service - based in Bromley's Central Library - provides a comprehensive collection of books, newspapers and periodicals. It offers a wide-ranging enquiry service, as well as fax and photocopying facilities and free use of computers with access to online resources for library members, internet and word processing.

Transport

  • Centrally located in the pedestrianised section of Bromley High Street, served by major bus routes and two rail stations - Bromley North and Bromley South.
  • The library does not have parking facilities but there are several car parks, for which a charge is made,  within easy walking distance.

Services & Facilities

Joining and using the library

  • You do not need to be a member of the library to use the Reference and Information Library, to read the newspapers or find information in books.
  • You may need to be a library member to use some online reference works. Anyone can join the library if they can provide proof of address and signature.
