Coming Events
Downloadable ebooks and audio ebooks at elib@bromley website
From 22 February 2010, readers can visit our new digital library, elib@bromley. Once they log in with their normal library card and pin/password, they can borrow ebooks and audio ebooks for up to two weeks. These files can be saved to personal devices such as MP3 players, eReaders and iPhones. When the loan time finishes, the files will automatically delete themselves, no fines, no charges. As this endeavour has been launched in partnership, Bromley readers can use their Bromley login to access stock downloads from Bexley and Lewisham elib websites, too.
Free wi-fi access now at five branch libraries
Free wi-fi access is now available at five of our libraries - Bromley Central Library, Anerley Library, Mottingham Library, Penge Library, and St Paul's Cray Library. You do not have to be a member of the library to use the wi-fi network, but you will need to ask the staff for a username and password for each session.
Broscars 2009
The story of a rescue greyhound has melted the hearts of Bromley’s young readers as Born to Run by Michael Morpurgo is named best book at the 2009 Bromley Children’s Book Awards ceremony.
Weathering The Downturn
We're sure you don't need reminding that many of the services available in your local library are free....but there is more than just free books to be borrowed. Take a look! "Weathering the Downturn" information page.
